A Legacy Continued

"To paint in Taos is to contend with the shadow of history. My work serves as a contemporary conversation with the stewards of this land."

Enrico Trujillo maintains his primary studio in Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico. His work draws on the high-desert landscape, studio observation, and the layered cultural history of Northern New Mexico. His technique bridges traditional portraiture with a contemporary interest in color, surface, and form.
